Steve Goodwin recognized with a Wildlife Conservationist Award from the League of Ohio Sportsmen.

We are honored to report that on February 28 Steve Goodwin, AOA Land Protection Specialist, was presented with the prestigious Wildlife Conservationist Award at the League of Ohio Sportsmen/Ohio Wildlife Federation Convention Conservation Awards Banquet in Columbus. The League presents the Wildlife Conservationist award each year to an Ohio resident “for outstanding achievement contributing to effective management, control, restoration, or replenishment of wildlife resources in Ohio”.

Those who have had the pleasure to work with Steve know that he is very passionate about conservation. His long career in public service has been dedicated to the conservation of exemplary Ohio land and water resources throughout the state. Steve has been instrumental in the growth and development of AOA as an organization and has taken a leading role in many of our conservation accomplishments. Needless to say AOA is very proud of Steve and congratulate him on this well deserved recognition.
