The Appalachia Ohio Alliance is partnering with the Rural Action Zero Waste Program to help clean up our Trimble Community Forest property.   Please join us for this annual event as we help beautify the Trimble forest preserve.

Tyler Bonner, Zero Waste AmeriCorps and Austin Battles, AOA AmeriCorps will lead the clean up efforts.  Afterwards, feel free to join us for a hike through part of the 1,200-acre preserve.

Please dress appropriately for the weather as well as cleanup activities in woods.  Long pants and sturdy shoes are recommended.  Work gloves, tools and supplies will be provided. The clean-up will proceed rain or shine (with the exception of a steady downpour or lightning).

This event is being held in support of Keep Southeast Ohio Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup effort.

Time:  Meet at 1:00 p.m.

What to Bring:  Snacks and drinks of your choice

Location:  We will rendezvous at the Rural Action Community Center in Trimble (19627 Walnut Street, Trimble, OH 45782) and caravan or carpool to the nearby site – see Google map link.
