The forests and spectacular wildflower covered slopes on the Bonnoront Preserve are threatened primarily by invasive garlic mustard which is a particular threat to one side of the gorge. This volunteer workday will primarily focus on hand-pulling the still small garlic mustard plants before they can set seed to protect the native plant communities.

Time: Meet at 10:00 a.m. or come when you can
What to Bring: Work gloves, snacks, lunch and/or drinks of your choice.
Location: Bonnoront Preserve is located north of Rockbridge just off Highway 33. Park along the west side of Bailey Road. Please do not block the road. Enter the forest via the old dirt road on the far left side of the former Bonnoront house which is painted light blue. The Google map address for the property is 25653 Bailey Road, Rockbridge, OH, 43149.
