Protect wildflowers and native landscapes. Be an AOA Volunteer

Spending time outdoors in nature benefits human health and well-being.  It can be amazingly therapeutic to the soul.  AOA’s preserves contain old growth forests, native wildflowers, migratory songbirds, waterfalls and diverse terrains.

Volunteers work closely with AOA staff planting trees and wildflowers, removing invasive plants, checking for tree diseases and restoring wetlands.

Volunteer Days.  Information regarding our invasive removal activities for the year will be placed on our website Calendar of Events and/or shown on our Facebook page.  We also send out emails regarding special event volunteering to people who have volunteered in the past or to anyone who has contacted us as a potential volunteer.

Come at any time and stay as long as you are able to participate.  If you plan to arrive after the start time, look for cars and signs along the road. Directions to work sites will be posted on the website and/or Facebook.

Join us and enjoy the peace and serenity of the woodlands and see the best of our native wildflowers while helping protect and improve our conservation properties.
